Houghton has built and developed residential units in Mexico’s Riviera Maya since 2009, partnering with a variety of investors, including those who wish to combine regular holidays with a vacation home in Tulum, Playa del Carmen or one of the lesser-known (and more exclusive) communities nearby, such as Puerto Aventuras or Aldea Zama. His first hotel, KASA Hotel Parota in Tulum, opened two years ago and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), offering a mix of residential units and a luxury boutique hotel.
